📌 For over four decades, Ars Electronica has explored the intersection of art 🎨, technology 🖥️, and society 👥. Since 1979, it has developed projects and strategies addressing Digital Transformation – working with artists, scientists, technologists, and activists worldwide to examine how emerging technologies shape our future ways of living and working together ✨
📌 Within RIECS-Concept, Ars Electronica contributes expertise from its hashtag#CitizenLab and its work on the European project IMPETUS for citizen science! Since 2023, it has been awarded the European Union Prize for Citizen Science 🌱, highlighting civil society’s role in advancing knowledge and shaping the future ❗
📌 As a key actor in stakeholder engagement, Ars Electronica supports participatory processes throughout the project. A significant milestone will come in 2026 when the Ars Electronica Festival hosts a Citizen Science summit – bringing the ecosystem together in an inspiring, collaborative space 🚀.
