Meet our partner: @Citizen Science Zürich (UZH / ETH)

📌 CSZ is a joint initiative of the @University of Zurich and @ETH Zurich, supported by the Mercator Foundation Switzerland. CSZ supports people 👥 in engaging with participatory research and increasing citizen involvement in academia – providing the expertise, resources, and technical know-how needed to develop and run Citizen Science projects 🌱.

📌 Within @RIECS-Concept, @CSZ leads stakeholder engagement with international organizations and global policy institutions 🌍 to ensure the infrastructure aligns with global data and knowledge standards – especially for sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

✨ Drawing on experience from initiatives like CROWD4SDG and the SDG Olympiad, CSZ leverages its coordination of the Swiss Hub of the Citizen Science Global Partnership 🌱, based at Geneva’s SDG Solution Space, to connect with over 500 international organizations and promote citizen science as a standard data source for sustainability monitoring ✨
